Set PHP version for web hosting in cPanel

Step 1: Click the "Select PHP Version" icon as shown on the screen below:

Step 2:

Choose the version of PHP you want to run on your web hosting. "Native" is the PHP version that is standard for the particular server your web hosting is located on, and the version is in parentheses (7.0).
Click the "Set as current" button to save the change.

Once you have selected the version, you can first press “Use defaults” to make sure the most common modules are added.
You can now add / remove modules that will run for PHP on your web hosting, all depending on what requirements you have.
Press “Save” to apply the new changes.
To change the limits set by PHP, press "Switch To PHP Options"
